Common questions

Do I need to ship my bike?

If you're coming from within the EU, you ride your own bike to Lithuania. From outside the EU, get in touch and we'll work it out.

What if I'm not experienced on gravel?

Tell me your experience and I'll match you to the right route. The Soviet Coast is the least gravel-heavy. The Forest Roads South tour is the most.

Can I join solo?

Yes. Most riders join solo. You'll share the road with up to seven others. Let me know your accommodation preference.

What's the accommodation like?

Small guesthouses, farmsteads, and one city hotel per capital. Clean and comfortable — not luxury hotels, but nothing rough either.

Is the history content mandatory?

It's integrated into the route, so yes. The sites we visit are on the way. You don't have to read every board, but these stops are part of every tour.

What happens if something goes wrong?

I carry basic recovery gear and contacts for breakdown assistance in all three countries. Travel insurance with motorcycle cover is mandatory for all participants.

What does the price include?

Accommodation, breakfast daily, all excursions and local experts, GPX route files, and the tour itself. Not included: fuel, most lunches and dinners, the ferry from Kiel, and personal travel insurance. Full breakdown is on each tour page.
