I’m Stanislovas Glova — Lithuanian, based in Vilnius, riding for over fifteen years. I’ve covered most of the Balkans, all three Baltic countries, and parts of Central Asia. The Baltic tours are what I know best.
I started Glova.lt because I kept meeting riders who wanted to do the region properly — not the capitals-and-highways circuit, but the back roads, the history, the places that take some knowing. That’s what these tours are.
I guide personally. Every tour. Maximum eight riders.
The Baltics reward slowness. These routes are built around time — enough of it to stop when something's worth stopping for. Most organised motorcycle tours move fast and stay on tarmac. These don't.
I ride a BMW R1250GS. It's the right bike for these routes — comfortable on long paved days, capable on gravel, reliable enough to trust in places where the nearest dealer is two countries away.
Tour participants bring their own bikes. The requirement is GS-class or equivalent — something designed for mixed surfaces and long days.
Route planning takes months. I ride every track solo before it goes on an itinerary. If a road's been washed out, I find out before you do.
Every route includes the history of the places we pass through. Not a detour — integrated. You can't understand the Baltic landscape without knowing what happened to it.
These tours include gravel roads. Some of them are rough. I'll tell you exactly what to expect. If your bike or experience isn't the right fit, I'll say so before you book.
Most questions are worth asking before committing. Send a message and I'll reply directly.
